A little while ago Horton Orthodontics and dozens of other female small business owners met at the Holiday Inn, Saint Paul East to help celebrate the “There’s Only One You!” expo. The event had a variety of different products, services, and seminars that covered virtually anything you could possibly need! Event attendees could shop at over 100 women owned business in a relaxed environment that felt like a refreshing day out to laugh, have fun, discover new business opportunities and refresh your look, all in one location.
Some of the things that caught our eye as we moved through the crowd was Minnesota author Kim Hruba signing copies of her first book, The Elevator Girl, The Home Depot putting on “How-To” workshops for women, great massages for everyone, and Carmell Meland, a guest speaker with great stories and experiences to share.
The expo’s goal was to have everyone who attended walk away with a sense of empowerment and renewal that they can make a change for the better in their life and the world. Everyone can agree, that is a goal worth pursuing.
