Leading our mission with passion and purpose is Dr. Heather Horton, a board certified orthodontist whose journey has been marked by academic excellence, athletic achievement and an unwavering commitment to advancing her skills. Growing up in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Dr. Horton embraced values like hard work, perseverance and leadership from a young age. As valedictorian, student council president and a multi-sport athlete, she set a strong foundation that would carry her through a distinguished academic and professional career.
Dr. Horton earned her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Minnesota, where she also competed on the Gophers’ cross-country and track teams. Her college years were a blend of rigorous academics, leadership roles and meaningful community service. During her orthodontic residency at Case Western Reserve University, she earned first place at the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists meeting—proof of her dedication to both clinical excellence and research innovation.
Achieving board certification is a distinction held by less than half of practicing orthodontists. For Dr. Horton, it was just the beginning. She remains committed to lifelong learning and adopting the latest advancements in orthodontic technology to provide patients with the best, most effective care possible.
