Meet Your Orthodontist, Dr. Heather Horton
Get to know Dr. Heather Horton, our board certified orthodontist! Dr. Horton received both her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Minnesota. In addition to competing in track and field and cross country, she was also heavily involved in service, research and leadership during her time there. Most notably, she was the chair of the Student Health Advisory Council. After dental school, she attended the prestigious Case Western Reserve University for her orthodontic residency, where her research earned her first place at the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists meeting!
As an orthodontist, Dr. Horton is passionate about continuing education and staying up to date with the latest techniques, technologies and research in the field of orthodontics. In addition to being active in the local Woodbury community, she is also involved in both local and national organizations. Dr. Horton is the current St. Paul District Dental Society president, a board member of the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
