Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Heather Horton is our outstanding orthodontist here at Horton Orthodontics. She has a wealth of experience and expertise so that you and your family’s orthodontic treatment is top-notch. Dr. Horton received both her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees at the University of Minnesota. After dental school, she completed her orthodontic residency at Case Western Reserve University. Her research during her residency earned first place at the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists meeting.
As a firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Horton is always open to learning as much as possible in the field of orthodontics. She voluntarily became a board certified orthodontist and continues to maintain that certification. Only just over half of all orthodontists are board certified, and this means that she spent many hours of additional time studying and preparing to be the best orthodontist possible. Additionally, Dr. Horton stays on top of cutting-edge orthodontic technologies and techniques by dedicating her time to continuing education opportunities multiple times every year.
